Jocelyn Faye is a boutique head wear store based in Wellington NZ. Each hat, headpiece and accessory is lovingly and thoughtfully hand crafted by artist, designer and founder - Megan Ransom.
Megan has had a career in the arts for over 35 years. She studied fashion and design established her own fashion label and worked as a personal stylist during the 90s. Megan is a 3D conceptual artist who has the gift of being able to work within many genres of the arts including fashion, floristry, landscape design, interior decorating, furniture design / restoration and she is a revered fine arts bronze sculptor.
Megan was the mind behind establishing the Boheme Gallery in Wellington in 2013, where she exhibited her own bronze works alongside Wellington’s up and coming artists. Boheme Gallery soon became a hub for artists and an art school was incorporated within the gallery.
Her unique hat inspirations come from global travel, soaking up different cultures and art styles from around the world. She most definitely brings her artist’s eye in creating Jocelyn Faye’s most amazing hats and headpieces.
